Cheaper at another New York airport?

Same dates, cheapest drive-up lot at each airport. Prices from each airport’s own parking page, checked October 30, 2026.

How to pay less at Newark

Economy Parking P6 costs $30 a day less than the cheapest lot you can walk from. It needs the AirTrain, so add time for the ride to your terminal. The lots you can walk from, Short Term Parking A, Short Term Parking B and C, cost $65 to $70 a day at the gate.

Newark’s P6 is the cheapest drive-up of the three New York airports: $35 a day, against $45 at JFK and $75 at LaGuardia. The P4 daily garage is the odd one: $60 a day and it still needs the AirTrain, only $5 less than Short Term A, which you can walk from.

Going for a weekend? Three nights in P6 run $105 at the gate, and Short Term A would be $195. Flying from New York anyway? Newark can beat JFK on parking by $10 a day, so weigh that against the drive across the river. If you book P6, the online rate from $30 is the lowest price at any of the three New York airports we cover.

Booking ahead is where the savings are. Every lot here advertises a lower online rate. For a week away, reserving Economy Parking P6 instead of driving up saves about $35.

Long trips

Our guide to leaving your car at the airport shows what a long stay costs.

Remember where you parked

Airport garages repeat the same colours and numbers on every level. Take a photo of the nearest pillar sign, or save the spot in an app before you walk to the terminal — after a week away, it’s the first thing people forget. A printable park note keeps the level and row on paper.

Back from the trip? Check if alternate side parking is in effect on your street.
