How to pay less at O’Hare
Economy Lot G costs $27 a day less than the cheapest lot you can walk from. It needs the ATS train, so add time for the ride to your terminal. The lots you can walk from, Main Garage – Daily (levels 2–6) / Lots B & C, Terminal 5 Garage / Lot D, cost $43 a day at the gate.
O’Hare has two $16 lots, and a third, Lot F, at nearly double. A week in Lot G comes to $112, against $301 in the Main Garage. Level 1 of the Main Garage is hourly, from $3 for the first hour, and it’s meant for short stops rather than trips.
Reserving a covered spot near the terminal adds $10 a day on top of parking, by the airport’s reserved parking page.
The prices we read on the O’Hare parking page are drive-up rates, and it showed no lower online rate for these lots. Economy Lot G is the way to pay less.

Long trips

Remember where you parked
Airport garages repeat the same colours and numbers on every level. Take a photo of the nearest pillar sign, or save the spot in an app before you walk to the terminal — after a week away, it’s the first thing people forget. A printable park note keeps the level and row on paper.
