JFK airport parking: what your trip will cost
The cheapest place you can drive up to at JFK is the Long-Term Lot: $45 per 24 hours at the gate, or from $35 a day if you book ahead (October 30, 2026). You’ll need the AirTrain to reach the terminals. Lots you can walk from run $70–$82 a day. The Federal Circle Station Lot takes reservations only, from $45 a day. Enter your dates for your total.

Every JFK lot for 5 days, cheapest first
Drive-up is the 24-hour maximum at the gate. Prebook is the lowest rate the airport advertises when you reserve online. Both checked October 30, 2026 — prices change often, so check the airport’s page before you go.
Terminal 1 and Terminal 7 lots closed (use Terminal 8 Red Lot). Charged in 30-minute increments up to the daily max.

How to pay less at JFK
The Long-Term Lot costs $25 a day less than the cheapest lot you can walk from. It needs the AirTrain, so add time for the ride to your terminal. The lots you can walk from, Terminal 8 Red Lot, Terminal 5 Yellow Lot, Terminal 4 Blue Lot, cost $70 to $82 a day at the gate.
JFK closed its Terminal 1 and Terminal 7 lots, so people flying from those terminals now use the Terminal 8 Red Lot. Charges build in 30-minute steps up to the daily maximum, which matters for a pickup that runs long.
Booking ahead is where the savings are. Every lot here advertises a lower online rate, and the Federal Circle Station Lot is reservation-only from $45 a day. For a week away, reserving the Long-Term Lot instead of driving up saves about $70.
Long trips
If you’ll be gone more than 30 days, register the car with ABM Parking before you leave. Unregistered cars past 30 days can be towed as abandoned. Our guide to leaving your car at the airport shows what a long stay costs.
Remember where you parked
Airport garages repeat the same colours and numbers on every level. Take a photo of the nearest pillar sign, or save the spot in an app before you walk to the terminal — after a week away, it’s the first thing people forget. A printable park note keeps the level and row on paper.
Back from the trip? Check if alternate side parking is in effect on your street.

Save your spot before you fly
Where Did I Park keeps your spot for the whole trip, then shows how far away the car is and opens walking directions back to it when you land. Free on iPhone. About the app
