How the schedule works

The city splits each ward into sections, and each section gets its own dates through the season, about every six weeks. The city says one side of the street is swept on the first date of a pair and the other side on the second.

The schedule can change during the season, so if a posted sign and this page disagree, follow the sign.

Don’t know your section?

Find your block on the city’s street sweeping zones map, which shows your ward and section. The city’s 2026 street sweeping page has each ward’s schedule, and the city also runs a sweeper tracker.

After sweeping ends

Winter brings a different rule. From December 1 to April 1, some main streets ban parking from 3 to 7 AM every night, and a car left there can be towed. Check whether your street is on the winter ban.
